Ski Hire
We have arranged a 40% discount at Mir Famose which is just opposite the lift down to the resort centre. You can see their range of equipment on the Ski Set website

You may be able to get an equivalent discount on line but if not just let me know what you need together with height / weight / shoe size and I will reserve with the owner of the shop and you pay in the resort.
Ski Lessons / Guides
We recommend the Avoriaz Alpine Ski School - small class sizes and instruction in native or fluent English - mention skiavoriaz.co.uk and receive a 5% discount on lessons.

The Avoriaz Alpine Ski School offer limited availability for children's lessons so you may want to consider the Village des enfants instead.
Ski Passes
Our top tip on ski lift passes is to book them on line. Visit the skipass website and order the hands free internet reloadable cards – they cost 3 euros each. You should buy the passes at least 2 weeks before you leave. You can then pay for your lift pass on line just before you leave and you can go straight to the lifts – no queuing for passes in resort.

NB.
Avoriaz operate a little advertised promotion of a discount off the full portes du soleil ski passes. All you need to do is book on line before the season starts. The best discount is available before the end of September.

Flying to Avoriaz
Skiidygonzales.com
Most guests arrive at Geneva airport and the easiest way to get to Avoriaz is get a transfer from skiidygonzales. You can get a 5% discount to their normal prices by booking using the following link and entering the promo code skiavoriaz18

Link to skiidygonzales booking page

Ski-lifts.com

You can also get a 5% discount to ski-lifts.com transfers by booking from this page.
Please contact them directly if want a transfer from the train station at Cluses and mention skiavoriaz.co.uk to get your discount.

When you book you may be asked which terminal in Geneva airport. If your ticket does not say then you should assume Terminal 1. Terminal 2 is rarely used but has been used by FlyBe recently so it is worth checking.

When you choose a destination select Avoriaz station. Do not select Prodains as this will drop you at the bottom of the mountain at the Prodains Telepherique. Please note we do not recommend using Alpy Bus as it only drops at Prodains and not at Avoriaz itself. Also do not choose Amara as this is a new area just outside the resort.
If you are asked for the address of the apartment use Residence Aster
